1. Valve packing leakage

①Tighten the nuts evenly to compress the packing.
②Replace the packing.
2. Leakage between sealing surfaces
Failure cause analysis:
①There is dirt and debris attached to the sealing surface.
②The sealing surface is damaged.
solution:
①Clean up the dirt.
②Rework, trim, or replace.
3. Leakage at the connection between the valve body and the bonnet
Failure cause analysis:
①The connecting bolts are not evenly tightened.
②The flange sealing surface is damaged.
③The gasket is cracked or failed.
solution:
①Tighten evenly.
②Refinish.
