Steps Of KHB/KHM High Pressure Ball Valve Disassembly, Preparation, Installation,Testing

Disassemble
First put the valve position in the half-open position, and then fully open to remove the residual medium in the valve. Unscrew the fittings on both sides of the valve (counterclockwise). Remove O-rings (note order and orientation of internal fittings). The ball can only be removed when the valve is in the closed position. Disassembly of the stem is then accomplished by pressing the stem down towards the valve body. Remove the upper O-ring from the valve stem with a suitable tool (such as a small screwdriver). Finally remove the thrust back washer (at the stem collar) from the stem.
Prepare
Before replacing the valve body seal, ensure that all parts are clean and non-polluting. All sealing materials, O-rings, and all parts of the valve that are in contact with the seal must be lubricated with a little Vaseline.
Install
By simultaneously pressing the stem and twisting it, then axially align the stem to engage the direction of the ball groove. Then, place the ball into the body, center it, and twist the stem 90 degrees (valve closed) so that the ball locks into the body. Place the new seal into the valve body, making sure that the concave surface of the seal is facing the ball, and gently screw the two side connectors into the valve body, making sure that the O-ring is not damaged.
Place the positioning pin on the square shaft to ensure that the valve is closed when the handle is pulled to the right, then lock it with a locking ring to ensure that the valve is closed, and finally install the handle or actuator.
Test
Compatible liquids (such as water) are tested with a maximum pressure of 1.1 times the test pressure when the ball is in the closed position. If the test is done with water, please remove the water medium in the valve body after the test process is completed. It is best to use air.
Warning: 1.Place the hydraulic ball valve in the fully open position
2.Using high torque values may cause damage to the bdy joints
